The rapid development of information technologies has led to a number of difficult to forecast potential abuses. A similar effect is taking place in the use of social media, leading to new forms of mobbing.
Also in view of lessons learnt from the present policy (in particular in terms of the process), the Board of Trustees (BOT) of ISU has unanimously decided to perform an overall revision of the harassment policy in place at ISU.

ISU’s Code of Conduct and Ethics (COCE) commits everyone in the ISU community to the highest ethical standards in furtherance of ISU’s mission of teaching, research, and service. The foundations of ethical behavior at ISU are a commitment to respecting the rights and dignity of all persons and a commitment to discharging our obligations to others in a fair and honest manner. Every member of ISU plays an important role in keeping these commitments by demonstrating integrity and respect in his or her daily activities and in the performance of their responsibilities.
The ISU COCE establishes a statement of principles to guide the activities of all ISU faculty, staff, and students, who are required to acknowledge and abide to it. The full text of the COCE is available online as part of the Academic Handbook (see chapter V).
This Academic Handbook describes the various academic components of the International Space University (ISU) and presents the rules and processes that apply to the ISU Faculty, academic staff, and students and participants with the aim of ensuring the highest standards of academic quality within the programs undertaken by the University. Its contents were reviewed and discussed by the Committee on Academic Appointment, Review, and Evaluation (CARE), the Academic Council, and were endorsed by the Board of Trustees.
We welcome visitors, students and staff to ISU’s Central Campus building and hope that people from all over the world, from different cultures and backgrounds, will feel comfortable here. As an institution, ISU aims to promote international and intercultural relationships. We hope that the ISU building will enhance ISU’s reputation as a leading global venue for space education and foster friendship among students, staff and all other communities.
We ask for your cooperation in maintaining an environment conducive to education and other appropriate uses of the building, and in complying with certain rules of conduct intended to ensure the comfort and protection of all who use the ISU facility.
Climate change is a major challenge of this century that affects all humankind. Its consequences are becoming increasingly important in our daily lives and a threat to our well-being.
At ISU, as pioneers in space education for the future leaders in the international space community, we see teaching and research on space technologies that can help solve global problems and monitor climate change as a key component of the curriculum.
In addition, we thrive to be an example of environmentally friendly practices on a day-to-day basis, both at our Central Campus in Strasbourg and at other program locations.
